endless prospects (2004/5)

endless prospects creatively explores the relationship between physical landscapes, architecture and sites and imaginary people who may have used, owned and occupied it. Kempadoo considers the way in which 'tropicalised' terrains were constructed, engineered and occupied, from vantage points, horizons and vistas for dreams and speculation, through to hideaway private places - free from visibility and surveillance.
